Notice Title

Optimising Woodland Design for Biodiversity and Long-Term Management within Wild Strathfillan

Notice Description

We require a contractor experienced in planning woodland creation sites, with a detailed knowledge of the biodiversity potential of woodland habitats along with experience of implementing best-practice guidance to maximise benefits to biodiversity and to enable long-term management. Over the estimated duration: October to December 2024 the successful contractor will be required to: - Summarise woodland creation and long-term management best practice in the context of the Wild Strathfillan area, including advice relevant to the habitats and species found in the area, adopting a cross-taxa approach and providing focused advice on key species of conservation concern in the area.
