The scope of this Award is diagnostic testing for tuberculosis (TB) by Scottish Microbiology & Virology Network (SMVN). NHS Scotland has made the decision to implement rapid molecular diagnostics to detect TB in a "once for Scotland" approach. This will provide a standardised platform that will be implemented across all NHS Scotland Health Boards to provide rapid molecular diagnostic testing for TB. This award is for the consumables only to support the equipment that has already been installed.
