Notice Description

Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has awarded a contract to a single supplier to provide cleaning services to HIE Lochgilphead office. The initial 2 year contract has a start date of 09/12/2024 and end date of 08/12/2026. HIE has the option to extend it by two one-year extension (2+1+1)

The value used in II.1.7 and V.2.4 is the estimated total value over the maximum contract duration of 4 years.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulations 8, 9 and 10 of The Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Options: Description of options: HIE may modify this contract with regard to demand and budgetary availability or where HIE's strategic focus changes as a result of changes in Scottish Government policy or as a result of a direction given to them by the Scottish Government. This may result in amendments to requirements under the contract including but not limited to: Changes in occupancy level that require increased or reduced services, for example third party tenants occupying or vacating space. Change in lease agreements requiring increased or reduced services or resulting in no further services required. Services required at additional buildings/sites in the Lochgilphead area. Increase or decrease tasks type or frequency, for example to meet additional hygiene measures.

Renewal: HIE reserves the right to retender these services at the expiry of this contract.
