Summary of the contracting process

The Supplier Development Programme (SDP), a body focused on enhancing the capabilities of Scottish SMEs in public procurement, has awarded a contract for the creation and delivery of webinar content. The project pertains to "Award of Creation of content and delivery of agreed materials by webinar," aiming to educate SMEs on bidding for public sector contracts, particularly those related to the space sector within Scotland and the wider UK. The industry categories include audio-visual materials and education and training services. The procurement stage is currently at the award stage, with the contract being finalised on 11 July 2024. The successful supplier, Caughey Solutions Limited, will be responsible for developing bespoke training modules under this contract valued at £600.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in audio-visual production and education services, particularly those with expertise in delivering training and content aimed at upskilling companies in competitive bid processes. The initiative seeks to foster growth among Scottish SMEs by equipping them with the necessary knowledge to navigate and win public sector contracts, especially in the burgeoning space technology sector. Organisations with a strong background in educational content creation, public sector procurement processes, and technological advancements would find this tender aligns perfectly with their services, presenting ample opportunities for business growth and industry leadership.
