Lothian Health Board is seeking proposals from bidders who can deliver a welfare advice service at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. The service will work to support patients, carers and Lothian Health Board staff with welfare rights advice issues. The service will operate from the Royal Edinburgh Hospital site and support patients and carers/families who are attending the hospital as either inpatients or outpatients and Lothian Health Board staff working at these sites. As such the service will be available to all hospital patients and carers within Lothian Health Board and throughout Scotland with referral onto the most appropriate service in the community once discharged.. Please see attached specification for full requirement. Contract period 20 January 2025 - 19 January 2028 with possible 2 x 12 months extension.
