The Scottish Government have launched a public consultation on proposals to extend marine planning zones out to 12 nautical miles Extending marine planning zones: consultation - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). The purpose of which is to allow businesses to consider aquaculture development opportunity between 3-12 nautical miles offshore.In response to the consultation, CES needs to consider how best to offer large scale offshore aquaculture developments to the market and to demonstrate market value for the use of the seabed asset.Details within the Invitation to Tender.*Please note the new dates for the delivery of the project.
