Tissues, Cells and Advanced Therapeutics (TCAT) utilise the Miltenyi Biotec CliniMACS Prodigy device at both the Jack Copland Centre (JCC) and Institute for Regeneration and Repair North (IRRN) for the manufacture of Advance Medicinal Therapeutic Products (ATMPs). The CliniMACS Prodigy is an automated, enclosed, cell therapy medical device that conforms to ATMP standards. It is an essential piece of equipment utilised in a range of ATMP manufacturing processes. The commercial Contract will cover purchase of the CliniMACS Prodigy. As stated within the commercial contract, this equipment is required for the manufacturing process.
