The University of Strathclyde (Contracting Authority) on behalf of the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS) seeks a single supplier to supply and deliver branded workwear and PPE for NMIS personnel. The Contract duration is anticipated for a period of 24-months with the potential to extend the Contract for a further x2 12-months at the entire discretion of the Contracting Authority.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN), relates to a potential open tender below the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) threshold for the provision of branded workwear and PPE for NMIS personnel. The Contracting Authority envisions awarding a potential contract to a supplier that can fulfil the below non-exhaustive list of requirements. Potential suppliers who believe they can fulfil the high level specification in this PIN, may be sent a market research questionnaire to review in full, complete and submit to the Contracting Authority. Suppliers are required to note their interest by 12:00 noon on the 24th of April 2025. 1 The Contracting Authority requires a supplier that can supply and deliver the below noted garments to NMIS. 1.1 Polo shirts 1.2 Fleeces 1.3 PPE 1.4 Protective footwear for engineering and laboratory environments 1.5 Lab coats 1.6 Shirts 2 The Contracting Authority requires a supplier that can supply polo shirts in a range of sizes from XS (34 inches) to 5XL (58 inches). 3 The Contracting Authority requires a supplier that can custom embroider polo shirts with NMIS' logos. 4 The successful supplier shall provide an online portal that NMIS personnel can use to order garments and track the necessary data related to volume of units purchased, associated prices and delivery dates. 5 The Contracting Authority requires a supplier that can provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suitable for a manufacturing and laboratory environment.
