The consultant will be required to prepare information prior to the workshops, engage with the community and produce a report detailing the findings, along with concept drawings. Consultant will work with Arbroath Neighbourhood Board.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The consultant will cohost three public design and engagement workshops from May to August 2025. The purpose of these workshops is to engage with the community to develop the ideas, and the successful consultant will be required to show progression and development between each of the workshop sessions. The funding suggestions provided by the local community in 2024 have been grouped into 3 separate workshop packages. The consultant will be required to visit the locations identified in Work package B and gather high quality photographs of the location, carry out an audit of current facilities/amenities that will be used to build up a robust understanding of each of the areas in the work package. This will be used to demonstrate the locations at the workshops. At the workshop, the consultant will work with ANB members to facilitate discussions at the three tables. Each table will display the imagery and audit of current location, along with a solution to gather feedback. The consultant will be prepared to tease out ideas from attendees and will encourage the attendees to share their views on the strengths of the ideas, potential challenges/barriers and potential mitigations about the idea. After the workshop, the successful bidder will collate the information and present the findings in a report (table is acceptable). ANB will then agree which ideas are taken forward into concept drawings/artist impression stage. The consultant will be required to provide these drawings.

Procurement Information

Market testing was carried out and 6 quotes were received. The top scoring bidder has been awarded work package C and therefore does not have the capacity to undertake work package B within the time scale. The evaluation panel therefore are direct awarding work package B to another bidder who demonstrated their capability and competence to deliver the scope of works.
