Summary of the contracting process

Scottish Enterprise procured an online research platform to support its key projects and enhance service delivery through an open procedure. The procurement, valued at £151,500, was conducted under the 'services' category and awarded to Userlytics. The procurement process was completed with the contract signed on 18th July 2025. Located in Glasgow and operating within the Economic Affairs sector, the procurement sought to contract for an initial term of one year, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions, in alignment with the Scottish Government's Digital First Service Standard.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for technology and user research businesses to engage in public sector projects. The requirement for an online research platform highlights the importance of user experience in digital service delivery, making this an excellent chance for businesses specialising in user behaviour research, software testing, and digital platforms. Companies capable of providing comprehensive research solutions that include both face-to-face and online user engagement would be well-positioned to benefit from similar opportunities within Scottish Enterprise and other public sector entities. The open procedure ensures a competitive tendering environment, inviting eligible service providers, particularly those with innovative approaches in digital research, to explore potential growth through government contracts.
