This is a specialist 4-Axis Precision Translation Stages equipment and there are no other suppliers available in the market to supply this type of equipment in the form factor required. The 4-Axis Precision Translation Stages supplied by Aerotech Limited offer nanometre-level precision and full integration with our laser control environment consisting of the following: Electrical Resolution: 0.25 nm (XY), 0.013 arcsec (B), 1.25 nm (Z), Accuracy: +/-200 nm (XY), 6 arcsec (B), +/-275 nm (Z) Repeatability: +/-50 nm (XY), 3 arcsec (B), +/-75 nm (Z), Load On Stages: tune and test both XYB stack and Z axis with 1 kg customer payload, Min / Max Velocity: 100 mm/sec (XYZ), 1800 deg/sec (B), Acceleration: 500 mm/sec^2 (XYZ), 3600 deg/sec^2 , Pitch / Roll / Yaw: +-1 arcsec (XY), 10 / 10 / 5 arcsec (Z), Move Profile: Contouring (XYB), Point-to-point (Z) The principal purpose of the contract award is to acquire goods in connection with research undertaken by the University
