**PLEASE REFER TO ALL DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD** - Location The opportunity is located within the Newmains, a village and former mining community on the eastern edge of Wishaw, approximately 18 miles (29 km) southeast of Glasgow. Vehicular access is currently taken from School Road and Parkview Crescent, which forms the West and South boundary of the site. - Price Offers over 1.5m invited. NLC intends to waive VAT exemption therefore VAT will be payable. - The Council will only accept submissions made via the Public Contracts Scotland portal. - Bids arriving after the closing date/time will not be considered nor will bids sent by email. - Following Closing Date A shortlist of bidders will be identified and issued with detailed commentary which can be used to present a final bid. A final closing date for the second stage bid process will be notified to shortlisted bidders only. - Once a preferred bidder is selected, final authority to proceed with the disposal will be required from NLC's Finance & Resources committee. - The committee date will be confirmed following the second stage bid review. - The final legal offer production will be by agreement between the council and the preferred bidder. - Legal Costs Each party shall be responsible for their own costs.
