The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS), on behalf of the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) Scotland, is preparing for the expiry of the current preferred provider arrangement for cautionary bonds. Cautionary bonds are required by financial guardians and interveners appointed by Sheriff Courts under the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000. They serve to safeguard the property and financial affairs of vulnerable adults. Please refer to the attached RfI for further informationn.
