Notice Description
The buildings are made up of timber huts with a link corridor connecting into the main school. The buildings have a timber frame construction supported on a single 100mm leaf of substructure concrete blockwork around the perimeter of the buildings and cross walls at approx. 1750mm centres internally to support the floor joists. External walls have timber cladding and metal sheet cladding to the roofs. Steel framing was subsequently installed to deal with roof uplift loads, which are supported on concrete pad foundations. The classroom and link have an approximate area of 418m2.

It is proposed that works for the contract will commence on site by the end of the year with a contract duration to be mutually agreed between the contractor and contract administrator. -
