THIS IS A CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE AND AS SUCH THE PROCUREMENT PROCESS IS COMPLETE. The contract is for access to expert cyber security advice to ensure we have appropriate strategies, standards, policies and operational arrangements to maintain a secure working environment and improve our cyber resilience and to support HIE. The services will be required from 9 October 2025 for an initial period of 3 years (until 8 October 2028), unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the contract, with HIE having the option to extend for two periods or periods together not exceeding 1 year each following the Initial Term (i.e. a 3+1+1 year contract; up to 8 October 2030).

Options: HIE reserves the right, on giving reasonable written notice from time to time, to require changes to the Services (whether by way of the removal of Services, the addition of new Services, or increasing or decreasing the Services) following a review of the Services by HIE, particularly with regard to changes in information security legislative requirements. The Contract may be modified for reasons including but not limited to: -Emergency situations e.g. due to a major cyber incident require more support than what is already included in the contract value. -Workload is higher than anticipated e.g. more tenders require cyber security consultant input. -(Some of the) Services no longer needed due to HIE bringing it (partially) in-house/EIS to deliver the services.
