WHE Balbirnie Place, Edinburgh: Boundary Wall

Notice Description

The work includes the partial demolition of the wall to facilitate the removal and treatment of vegetation growth and for repairing structural issues. The wall is then to be rebuilt to the original height with the coping stones secured with steel doweling and a resin adhesive. Repointing is to be carried out in areas where the mortar has degraded. Existing vegetation is to be cut back prior to the areas being treated with an appropriate herbicidal product to prevent further regrowth.
