Notice Description
The works comprise of the removal and replacement of 13 fitted kitchens to 13 properties. The successful contractor is responsible for the supply of all labour, materials, tools and plant necessary to complete the works. The works extend to associated minor electrical, plumbing and decorative and potentially gas related works. All works must comply with the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (as amended), the Domestic Technical Handbook, the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) notably elements 37 & 38 relating to Kitchen fittings, the contractor must consider best practices for social housing to minimise disruption to tenants.

The successful contractor is responsible for the supply of all labour, materials, tools and plant necessary to complete the works. The works extend to associated minor electrical, plumbing and decorative and potentially gas related works. All works must comply with the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (as amended), the Domestic Technical Handbook, the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) notably elements 37 & 38 relating to Kitchen fittings, the contractor must consider best practices for social housing to minimise disruption to tenants. All works and associated works are to be carried out by qualified tradespeople, e.g. GasSafe registered engineer for gas related works, SELECT or NICEIC approved for electrical works - handover to include relevant installation certificates for above tested works. Works are expected to be contracted for a 12 week period for completion before 31st March 2026. -
