Notice Description

City Building requires on behalf of its client to contract with a successful contractor who is a specialist in groundworks as part of a works package at Eastern Queenslie. These works are part of the redevelopment of Glasgow City Council's Easter Queenslie recycling centre to keep up-to-date with legislative requirements on how the City undertakes their recycling. Once complete the new materials recycling facility will use advanced technology to separate recyclable materials that will ensure high quantities of quality material can go forward for recycling. The Easter Queenslie is a key component of the transformation of GCC's waste programme across the city to reduce the carbon impact of waste in our environment, significantly improve the recycling rates and generate significant financial efficiencies from the improved quantity and quality of recyclable materials.
