South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) are notifying the market of a potential market opportunity for a supplier to provide comprehensive hosting, maintenance, development and support services for its website, www.southofscotlandenterprise.com, currently on Umbraco version 13.10.1. with requirement to support any future upgrades to newer versions of Umbraco as required. The hosting must be delivered via Microsoft Azure infrastructure. The appointed supplier will also be required to support the multi-site set-up within the same instance of Umbraco CMS which includes the hosting, support and maintenance of the following additional websites: - www.southofscotlandrep.com - www.investinsouthofscotland.com Key requirements include: - Provision of unlimited bandwidth and storage for all hosted websites. - Commercially reasonable efforts to achieve a Monthly Uptime Percentage of at least 99.95% throughout the contract period. - Proactive monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimal uptime and performance. - Ability to connect to each hosting environment regularly to verify connectivity - Technical capability to support the existing integrations that are in place - Implementation and management of SSL certificates for the duration of the contract, covering both the website and the CMS. - Provision of an efficient online support system and email option for raising critical issues, including service availability. - Critical issues must be responded to promptly. - Must take Business continuity and security very seriously and have measures built in to ensure our applications run with as little disruption as possible. - All environments must be backed up and be able to be rebuilt at any time. - Must be Cyber Essentials Plus certified, or suitable equivalent e.g. ISO 27001. - Must be able to provide block hours of support and work closely with the team on ongoing improvement plan which includes ongoing accessibility reviews and testing. Interested parties are invited to express their interest in delivering these services. Expressions of interest should be submitted via Public Contracts Scotland. The Invitations to Tender are expected to be issued at the end of January 2026.
