Jura, Craighouse to Corran Sands Active Travel Route: Developed & Technical Design
Notice Description
This project will work with landowners and the community to agree one of the two options identified in the Concept Design (Connected Transport Planning, 2024) that has been produced for an active travel route linking Craighouse Pier and housing at Otter Brae to the Corran Sands, Isle of Jura, progress the agreed option through developed and technical design, and undertake the principal designer role for future construction (subject to funding).

This project will work with landowners and the community to agree one of the two options identified in the Concept Design (Connected Transport Planning, 2024) that has been produced for an active travel route linking Craighouse Pier and housing at Otter Brae to the Corran Sands, Isle of Jura, progress the agreed option through developed and technical design, and undertake the principal designer role for future construction (subject to funding).
Renewal: The Council has the option, if funding is secured for 26/27, to revise the end date to 30/03/27. The Council has the option, if funding is secured for 27/28, to revise the end date to 30/03/28. The Contract may be extended for up to 2 additional years until 31/03/30 at the option of the Council.
