Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of a Light 3D Scanning System
Notice Description
The NMIS Metrology Team requires a supplier to manufacture and commission a structured light 3D scanning system. This is to act as a replacement for an ageing GOM Atos Triple Scan 8M currently in use as part of the dimensional inspection capability within the organisation. The current geometric reconstruction and inspection capabilities of the existing system must be replicated as an absolute minimum, with an increase in capability being a goal. This system will support a diverse array of inspection tasks which will support manufacturing within forging, forming, additive manufacturing, machining, composites and more. The successful supplier will provide a fully functioning fringe projection system, consisting of the scanning unit itself (projector, at least two cameras and appropriate lenses), manual stand, rotary table, controlling PC and software capable of both data capture and analysis.
