Notice Description
Within Easter Bush Pathology is the Veterinary Clinical Pathology Laboratory, a mid-throughput veterinary diagnostic laboratory offering a range of research and diagnostic testing services to support the internal hospital for small animals, equine and farm animal practices, the Dairy Heard Health and Production service, and several research institutions as well as external, primarily UK-based, veterinary practices. Services include clinical chemistry, haematology, cytology, endocrinology, and faecal and urine testing. One of the core services, the clinical chemistry service, operates in conjunction with the Dairy Herd Health and Productivity Service (DHHPS) department, offering clinical chemistry tests on serum, urine and other body fluids. The University needs to replace the primary analyser used by the Clinical Chemistry Service.
