The Council has been awarded external funding to facilitate a 5-year heritage programme to enhance Tarbert's waterfront. With a view to encouraging participation, these types of projects benefit from a design team framework. A framework not only enables Council officers to recommend an architect, but through which the project is also better able to control quality and secure best value, whilst removing an onerous activity from the property owners.
