Notice Description

Lot Information
Lot 1
The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers wishes to commission primary quantitative research to measure changes in attitudes and experiences of intra-household resource distribution. This work will take the form of a quantitative survey of individuals living with their partner in households in Scotland on how they organise their income and financial responsibilities. The contract is expected to last four months with data being delivered in September 2026. Key outputs and deliverables include: - inception report - regular project updates - final version of questionnaire - finalised sampling strategy - full, clean, non-disclosive and weight dataset in a CSV file with codebook - technical report detailing survey methodology and sample. There is an option for us to commission a full analysis report too. The analysis report has been included as an optional output as the Scottish Government may decide to commission data collection through the tendering exercise but then perform the analysis and reporting internally. However, all tenderers should include the full analysis report in their proposals and provide separate costing for this element. If the reporting element was taken forward this would extend the contract by a further 2 1/2 months. The key output and deliverable from this element would be the full analysis report.
Renewal: The contract will include a one month no cost optional extension.
