This procurement covers the supply of Omnissa Horizon Standard Term Concurrent User licences to support up to 1,300 concurrent users for a 12-month subscription period. The contract includes 13 x 100-user concurrent licence packs, together with associated subscription services, standard support and software updates, enabling COPFS to continue delivering secure, centrally managed virtual desktops and applications for operational use. The licensing provides the legal right to use the Horizon platform and ensures vendor-supported, secure and compliant access to business-critical desktop services. The requirement is being fulfilled via the Scottish Government Software Value Added Reseller Services Framework (SP-21-034), using Computacenter (UK) Ltd as the appointed supplier. Utilising this framework provides a compliant, transparent and low-risk route to market, ensuring adherence to regulated public sector procurement procedures, Scottish Government policy requirements, and value-for-money principles while enabling efficient procurement of the required software licences.
