Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process initiated by Clydebank Housing Association Ltd. seeks a contractor to deliver a multi-trade out of hours reactive repair contract, covering the housing stock of both Clydebank and Knowes Housing Associations. Located in Clydebank and Faifley, the project falls under the "works" category, specifically targeting housing and community amenities. The procurement is currently at the tender stage with a closing date for submissions on the 8th of June 2026. This restricted procedure requires electronic submissions and will follow a selective procurement method. The contract, lasting three years with a possibility of a two-year extension, offers significant opportunities for the appointed contractor to work closely with both associations.

This tender presents a promising opportunity for businesses operating within the construction and maintenance sector, particularly those specializing in housing repairs. Companies that possess strong capabilities in multi-trade repairs and can demonstrate adherence to professional registrations are well-suited to compete. Additionally, with an emphasis on community benefits, businesses that are dedicated to creating social value through employment, training, and community engagement will find favourable conditions for growth. Successfully securing this contract could offer substantial financial and developmental opportunities for firms looking to expand their portfolio and enhance their engagement in the local community.
