Queens Bridge A93-03 Remedial Works
Notice Description
Queen's Bridge is a pre-stressed concrete bridge constructed in the 1960's carrying the A93 over the River Tay. A Principle Inspection in 2025 has raised a number of issues that need to be addressed over and above regular maintenance. These include crack repairs to underpass no. 1, cleaning and repainting steel beams in underpass no. 2, clearing of drainage system across the structure, resurfacing east expansion joint, clean and repaint tie rods in both abutments and small scale concrete repairs. The key requirement of the contract is the appointment of a Contractor able to carry out the required remedial works to the bridge.

The Contract works Completion Date is 25/09/26.
Renewal: The Council will have the option of extending the Contract using Compensation Events (CEs) under the NEC4 PSC.
