Scottish Natural Heritage, also known as NatureScot, is buying one specialist road-going 4x4 electric vehicle. The vehicle will support staff maintaining NatureScot’s National Nature Reserves and will initially be used for testing at sites to assess whether this type of vehicle is suitable for wider deployment across the organisation. NatureScot also wishes to retain the option to purchase up to two additional vehicles of the same or equivalent specification during the period 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028, subject to operational requirements and the availability of funding. NatureScot provides no guarantee regarding the purchase of any additional vehicles. Scotland Excel is acting on behalf of NatureScot (NS) in the execution of this tender but will not be party to the contract or the management of the contract throughout its lifetime.
