Summary of the contracting process

Public Services Delivery Scotland, acting for NHS Scotland bodies and Scottish hospices, is planning a framework for women’s health products. The scope covers speculums, pessaries and cervical medical devices, including pessary cubes, incontinence dishes, donuts, Gellhorn, PVC and silicone rings, Shaatz pessaries, acetal copolymer and silicone shelves, cervical ripening balloons with stylets, and cervical rotating biopsy punches. Products will mainly be supplied through the National Distribution Service. Delivery may be required to any NHS Scotland health board, special health board, other NHS organisation, joint integration board or Scottish hospice.
