Digital Delivery and Change has a requirement to place a contract with an external Service Provider for the provision of SPM Architecture, Technical Design, Development & Governance Lot 1 - SPM Architectural Design & Development Support.

Lot 1
Core Service Areas - Lot 1 The Service Provider shall deliver the following (non-exhaustive list): Delivery of SPM incremental version upgrades - Implementation of SPM containerisation and transition to Java 21 - Development and optimisation of strategic tasks and work queues within SPM - Resolution of critical missed requirements from the programme with high cost or operational efficiency impact - Delivery of SPM system enhancements - Development and maintenance of organisational structures within SPM - Configuration and development of security roles and permissions The service shall include provision of appropriate technical capability, including: - SPM Technical Architect - SPM Developers (build/configuration/coding) The Service Provider shall deliver specialist technical and business to support the SPM Strategic Design function, providing an independent governance and assurance role. The service shall ensure that all system changes: - Maintain system performance and stability of SPM - Align with defined architectural principles and governance standards - Avoid conflicts of interest between design and development activities. There is an option to extend the term of the contract for up to 36 months. The estimated cost of such extension has been factored into the contract value stated above
Options: The Purchaser reserves the right to request additional SPM roles and additional ad hoc service requests in relation to SPM services that are within the scope of the contract as and when required. The published contract value includes an estimate of anticipated additional SPM roles, which are not guaranteed to be required, and is based on the Purchaser's expected business needs at the time of contract award. The Purchaser may also request further ad hoc service requests throughout the contract term where business requirements change or evolve. As a result, the actual spend under the Contract may vary from the published contract value.
