Summary: Transport for London (TfL) is currently in the planning stage for the Bakerloo Line Upgrade Stage 1 Infrastructure Works, aimed at introducing new rolling stock to replace the ageing fleet. The project encompasses the reconstruction of Stonebridge Park Depot, expansion at Queen's Park Area, and modifications at London Road Sidings, along with upgrades to the line's power supply, signalling systems, and other infrastructure. The procurement process involves several market engagement activities including a Supplier Industry Day scheduled for 24th March 2026 in London, with registration needed by 10th March 2026. Potential suppliers are encouraged to express interest to participate in these activities to provide feedback on TfL's proposed delivery models, which aim to drive construction efficiencies and innovative techniques.
