Summary: The LHC Procurement Group for the Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA) has initiated the planning stage for the H3 Housing Construction, Demolition, and Remediation Framework, intended to support public sector organisations in delivering sustainable housing projects across the UK. This procurement process engages early market stakeholders to refine the framework's structure, strategy, and commercial model before formal tendering begins. An essential milestone involves a series of online engagement activities with the deadline for registration scheduled for 8th February 2026. The framework, focusing on construction work within the public sector, aligns with modern construction methods and aims to support Net Zero ambitions. The framework anticipates covering a wide range of residential developments, including traditional and modular housing, key worker housing, student accommodation, and infrastructure works, with the contract period stretching from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2030, extendable to 31st August 2031.
