NHS London Procurement Partnership (NHS LPP) are releasing the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Works and Maintenance (formerly known as Minor Works and Maintenance) , which is made up of a number of related categories to support the NHS and the wider public sector to meet their repairs, renewals, backlog maintenance requirements. The categories are going to be released in a number of waves, potential suppliers are asked to review the description for each category and ensure that they meet the criteria before completing the required documentation to apply for a place on the DPS. The DPS is free for suppliers to apply to and has no limited value of works. The DPS will remain open to new applications throughout the life of the DPS, so suppliers can apply at any stage. An Environment Agency funded Natural Flood Management project on National Trust owned land in Purbeck, Dorset. The Swanbrook Wetlands NFM project comprises a range of NFM measures to be installed across 6 National Trust tenanted farm project sites, in three clusters around the catchment. The overall aim is to increase water retention in the headwaters and reduce flood risk downstream. NFM measures proposed are specific to each location and include low earth bunds, in-field scrapes, roughening features, leaky dams and areas of floodplain reconnection. Site works to restore two areas of the Greenlands mire system within the Purbeck Heaths National Nature Reserve, as part of a wider project led by the Dorset Peatland Partnership. The aim is to secure peat forming habitats, improve peat condition, slow flow rates and maximise Carbon capture within currently degraded mire systems. This will be achieved using a range of sensitive restoration techniques that are described in more detail in the attached restoration plans and project specifications. Activities include creating peat bunds and in-channel dams, mulching molinia vegetation and gorse; and earthworks to infill drainage channels. The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint suitable service providers to a Framework Agreement in relation to the utilisation and transformation of communal green spaces. The Agreement design is intended to support the aspirations of Community Wealth Building (CWB). CWB seeks to transform our local and regional economic systems to enable local communities and people to own, have a greater stake in, access and benefit from the wealth our economy generates. The Council is committed to adopting a CWB approach to its work wherever possible. In order to build on and recognise the importance and investment of local community groups, third sector organisations and not for profit groups the Council is introducing a budget dedicated to a new Community Led Improvement Programme (CLIP). This Framework Agreement shall be limited to Service Providers who support a volunteer network as part of their organisational activities and is anticipated to be of interest primarily to the third sector.
