NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board is seeking to secure a Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver Individual Placement and Support in line with the specified requirements. The service will provide intensive, individual support aiming to help people with a Severe Mental illness (SMI) to gain and retain paid competitive employment with the implementation of the evidenced based IPS employment approach. The service will be for people aged 18+ with an SMI open to secondary mental health care and also Primary Care. The geography covered is Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. The contract will be for an initial 3 year term with 2 optional extensions of any period of 1 year per extension with service commencement on the 1st April 2026. It is expected that TUPE will apply and information is available on request. Further details are provided within the tender documentation. The contract value is £1,186,995 per annum giving a total value of £3,560,985 over the initial 3 year term, £4,747,980 if the first extension is adopted, and £5,934,975 if all extensions are adopted. Bath and North East Somerset Council is testing the market to better understand what the market could provide in relation to Homeless Off-the-Streets Direct Access Hostel accommodation, that will also include housing management and support. The primary purpose of the accommodation is to provide an alternative to rough sleeping for people at risk of or already doing so. We are currently testing the market for: Option 1: Organisations with: a. Premises, that they currently own, and which are suitable for use for the hostel provision within the B&NES area; or b. Premises suitable for the hostel provision, that they can acquire through leasing/partnership agreement within the B&NES area; or c. A site that can be developed into hostel premises within the B&NES area, by the supplier organisation. Option 2: Organisations that could: d. Source a site/building within the B&NES area and, in partnership with the council, develop a hostel to meet current and future needs of homeless population. e. In the event that the council is able to secure a suitable site, work in partnership to develop and deliver a hostel to meet current and future needs of homeless population. Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) and Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Trust (RUH) who are members of the BSW Hospitals Group, are conducting a collaborative preliminary market engagement event with suitably qualified, interested providers, for the provision of an outpatient pharmacy located onsite at both Trusts. The contract commencement date is anticipated as the 8th March 2026.
