Tender Published: 13th June 2024 12:29:04 PM

Brief History: Haslingfield Skate Park site consists of a skate park area, and a basketball court. The site including the land is owned outright by Haslingfield Parish Council. The site was originally built back in 2009 using wooden ramps. These ramps over time rotted away and in 2023 we successfully carried out renovation of the skate park to concrete ramps, what it is today. Current Requirement After the success of the renovation we're now looking in to the second phase of works. These works will comprise of two elements; 1. Creating a new, second entrance to the area on from River Lane, to include new seating area. 2. Renovating and repurposing the Basketball court area to a MUGA Element 1, will involve creating a small foot bridge over the small river / stream, connecting the area to the footpath on river lane allowing people easy step free access the areas from river lane. This will open up the whole area making it feel much more open and inviting. (currently there is only one entrance). We'll also be creating a seating area (currently just a gravelled area), again bringing a new lease of life into this section of the skate park. Element 2 would be to renovate the existing Basketball court to incorporate a new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) Here we will be looking to remove the old rusted basketball nets and install a purpose built MUGA with new combined hoops and goals - the idea being this area can then be used for multiple sports like, Basketball, [...]

Cambridge - CAMBRIDGE CITY COUNCIL

Planning Published: 5th June 2024 14:56:10 PM

This prior information notice is issued by Cambridge City Council to inform potential suppliers about an upcoming procurement opportunity for packaging and posting the magazine for our Council tenants. This PIN is released with the idea that those organisations that submit their information via this route will be given direct access to the tender once it is released. The opportunity will, of course, still be advertised in the normal manner, however, any company expressing an interest at this point will get an automatic email once it is live on the portal should we decide to proceed with the full tender. Additionally, Cambridge City Council reserve the right to hold a market engagement event for interested parties. This will be decided once we are clear on the level of interest. Description of current thinking on the Contract outline and requirements The contract pertains to the packaging and posting of the 'Open Door' magazine for our Council tenants. This contract would be for one supplier to manage the packaging and posting process of our tenant magazine and link up with a separate supplier in order to receive the printed copies of the magazine, on behalf of the resident involvement team. This contract would cover receiving printed copies of our magazine, then packaging them in recycled materials, addressing them to tenants and posting to our tenants without Cambridge City Council involvement. We are seeking a supplier to package and post our tenant magazine three times a year over a three year-period. The supplier should have experience [...]
