1073 – FIRE DAMPERS THIS NOTICE IS FOR THE PURPOSES OF IDENTIFYING SUPPLIERS TO TAKE PART IN EARLY MARKET ENGAGEMENT AND IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION. Devon and Cornwall Police are currently undertaking preliminary market engagement and considering various route to market options in order to run a successful procurement process for their future Fire Damper service requirements. SWPPS wish to invite potential suppliers who may be interested in assisting with this early market engagement to answer a number of specific questions with SWPPS representatives. The requirement is for the provision of annual servicing of Fire Dampers to include service report, remedial recommendations and asset details. There are currently 711 Fire Dampers in 21 buildings across the Devon and Cornwall Estate The purpose of the preliminary market engagement is for early engagement with the market prior to undertaking a formal tender process which is expected to commence in mid 2025. The market engagement is to openly consult with the wider market place to share our requirements and gather information whilst also providing information on our current position. We will be seeking input from the supply market to inform our requirements, to help formulate our specification for the services and help identify routes to market. NHS Devon ICB (the Commissioner) was seeking providers who had the capability and capacity to deliver Level 2 and 3a NHS Orthodontic Services in North Devon and Torridge. Orthodontics is the dental speciality concerned with facial growth, development of the dentition and occlusion, and the assessment, diagnosis, interception and treatment of malocclusions and facial irregularities. The contract term will be for an initial period of 78 months and 24 days, with an option to extend for a further 36 months at the sole discretion of the Commissioner. Services are due to commence on 5th November 2025. The total contract value excluding extensions is £3,584,551, and £5,222,734 including extensions. The contract will be for the delivery of 6,635 Units of Orthodontic Activity (UOAs) per annum. The Met Office owns the Severe Space Weather Risk on the National Security Risk Assessment (NSRA) and receives funding from the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology (DSIT) to deliver a core national space weather capability to inform mitigation against the worst effects by government and critical sectors.   Given the prominence of the severe space weather as a 'significant' risk on the UK Government's NSRA and the higher than anticipated activity in this solar cycle, cross-government activity has increased putting greater demands and requirements on Met Office. Increased funding has been secured to resource these more demanding requirements focussed on improving UK preparedness for any future severe space weather event.  Met Office Technology team is looking to supplement its internal resources to support and advise the Space Weather programme from the technical perspective. The resources to be provided by the Delivery Partner will work in a blended team and will be supported by Met Office internal technical, product and delivery management leadership. The Met Office require resources to develop, support, maintain and improve our Space Weather portfolio and associated technologies. We're looking for skills that align to the GDaD Profession Capability Framework The successful supplier will be expected to supply a suitable development team with the capacity to take immediate ownership of the support and delivery of the Met Office Space Weather portfolio. Exeter City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified local partner to deliver the ongoing evaluation framework of its Sport England Place Partnership 'Live and Move' programme, with funding available for a 3 year contract to 2028. This local programme is part of a national network of places that Sport England are investing in to support communities to become more physically active. The successful organisation or alliance will be expected to work closely with Exeter City Council, Sport England and local stakeholders to deliver ongoing quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the programme. This will include delivering the local evaluation framework across communities in Exeter and Cranbrook for key place partnership programmes with a focus on tackling physical inactivity and reducing inequalities. The evaluation framework will include: • Theory of Change evaluation • Delivery of the annual Local Active Lives survey - Our Learning - Live and Move • Evaluation of the flagship Wellbeing Exeter programme - HOME | Wellbeing Exeter | Exeter • Evaluation of key programmes' impact and learning including: Wonford Community Wellbeing Hub, Active Travel schemes, Cranbrook community physical activity and a range of campaigns seeking to reduce inactivity. • System Maturity and contribution to national comparative analysis • Process Learning with stakeholders • Working alongside the national Sport England learning team and the National Evaluation Partner to support the national evaluation framework.
