Port of Sheerness Limited is conducting pre-market engagement to understand the commercial position and capability of the supply base for the service provision of taxi’s to transfer marine pilots across the Medway port, in preparation for a future procurement. A summary of the requirements are detailed below: Scope of Supplier service The future tender process will seek a comprehensive taxi service solution for pilot transfers at the Port of Sheerness, which may include but not be limited to: • 24/7 Availability: Provision of services 365 days a year, including unsociable hours, to meet the demands of vessel arrivals and departures. • Geographic Coverage: Services primarily focused on the Port of Sheerness and its immediate surroundings, including designated pilot boarding/landing locations and potentially local pilot accommodation. • Vehicle Fleet: A fleet of well-maintained, licensed, and appropriate vehicles suitable for transporting individuals and potentially small amounts of pilot equipment safely and comfortably. Background Liverpool City Council (LCC) is commissioning an on-site accommodation support service, which will support the use of block accommodation with on-site housing support that will enable the Council to provide more suitable accommodation to those who are homeless, whilst providing improved Value for Money than the use of B&B accommodation. Due to the ongoing growth and development of the Open Banking market, Crown Commercial Service (CCS), as the Authority, intends to put in place an agreement for Open Banking Services for use by Central Government and the Wider Public Sector. The Agreement will be a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This will be called RM6301: Open Banking DPS (Data, Digital Payments and Confirmation of Payee Services). This agreement will provide a vehicle for Central Government and the Public Sector to source Open Banking Services, including but not limited to: Digital Payment Services Account Information Services Confirmation of Payee (CoP) Services This will be the first agreement for Open Banking Services CCS has developed. The works comprise the electrical strip out and re-wire of Plas Caerdeon. It also includes the strip out and upgrade of the existing fire alarm system. It comprises of a Victorian manor house with communal GF areas including commercial kitchen as well as two upper floors which contain 15 dorm type bedrooms with separate shared bathroom facilities. There is also a separate converted stables and cottages which serve as self-catering accommodation for up to 17 people. The Project consists of the removal of the existing electrical wiring and outlets and replacing with new electric panel heaters and outlets/switches. The existing fire alarm system is to be striped out and replaced with a fully addressable system. It is the contractor's responsibility to design and specify the new fire alarm system and mange the works alongside the electrical installation. In association with these works there is a requirement to fill and make good all holes, penetrations etc. left by the removal of the old equipment, and also to the new equipment and cables provided by the new installation, paying particular attention to the Fire Strategy of the building and providing fire stopping where required, by a third-party accredited fire stopping contractor. In full compliance with the buildings fire strategy. As these works require decoration & making good, the University have requested that the decoration of all affected areas is included within the programme of works.
