Please note that we are only assessing the market to gain indicative costs to inform the production of a Business Case. We are not undertaking a procurement exercise at this stage. What we are looking for We are currently seeking to understand indicative supplier pricing for a BACS Bureau Service, to potentially outsource our shared service bureau function currently managed in-house. A. Scope of BACS Bureau Number of clients: 12 Number of Service User Number (SUN): 65 Types of BACs transactions: Direct Debit (80% of total transactions) and Direct Credit (20% of total transactions) Indicative annual transactional volumes: 6 million transactions Indicative annual transactional value: 6 billion GBP B. High level BACS Bureau provision requirements 1. BACS Submission & Processing Act as a BACS Approved Bureau provider Ensure seamless, accurate processing of BACS files without manual intervention. BACKGROUND TO NPH Northamptonshire Partnership Homes (NPH) are an arm’s length management organisation, formed in January 2015 that manages over 11,500 homes on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council (WNC). NPH is a wholly subsidiary of WNC (previously Northampton Borough Council prior to the change to establishment of WNC as a unitary authority in April 2021). NPH are a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) and a not-for-profit organisation. This means that our income is put back into providing housing and housing related service and supporting the communities we work in. OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW NPH have an in-house repairs and maintenance team who carry out day to day internal and external repairs as well as minor voids works. Our in-house teams are supported with an external material supply contractor who provides a variety of stock replenishment services. Supplies that are required include (but not limited to): Electrical Plumbing Painting and decorative Carpentry and joinery Ironmongery Kitchens Bathrooms Landscaping and external area materials Tools, machinery incl. replacement parts and consumables PPE and safety equipment The current material supply contract is due to expire in March 2026 and NPH have begun planning for the re-procurement of this contract. WNC is in the process of entering into a partnership arrangement to deliver our Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service. To supplement the Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service, WNC is seeking to commission the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) through community pharmacies in West Northamptonshire, free of charge to all women attending for this provision in line with requirements set out in the specification and in accordance with the EHC Patient Group Directions (PGD). Pharmacists providing this service must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), practising in West Northamptonshire and have completed the necessary training outlined in the service specification and PGD. West Northamptonshire Council will offer contracts to all providers that meet all requirements in relation to the provision of the relevant health care services to patients, based on this notice. Submissions will be evaluated and contracts awarded on a rolling basis up to the closing date of this advert. The contract ends on 31st March 2028.
