North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a care system support organisation working for and on behalf of NHS England - North West Specialised Commissioning, NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board - Lead ICB, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board, and NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (the Relevant Authorities), who are undertaking a competition to commission a Host Organisation - to procure, deliver and manage the North West Adult Critical Care Transfer Service. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The contract term is for a period of 5 years and the annual contract value is £5.66 million. The Host Organisation contract will be awarded by July 2025 and full mobilisation of the service will be confirmed in line with the awarded Host Organisation's mobilisation plan, this is anticipated to be between July 2025 and 01 April 2026, notwithstanding any supply issues to mobilise the service. The five-year contract will commence from full mobilisation of the service. The Host Organisation will be required to be provide all the requirements within the annual financial threshold of 5.66 million GDP and the successful Host Organisation should be an NHS Acute Trust who is CQC registered for the provision of General Adult Critical Care Services. The next ‘Meet the Buyer’ event will introduce members to Lancashire Constabulary The existing Lancashire Constabulary Reactive, Repairs and Planned Minor Works Framework Agreement expires on 30th September 2026. The Constabulary will be replacing this with a new one to start 1st October 2026 and want to hear from small and medium sized business who are passionate about meeting and delivering added social value to Lancashire. The new Framework is likely to be split into the following disciplines of work: • Building and Joinery (including Groundworks) • Plumbing • Roofing • Electrical • Drainage The estimated spend for the replacement framework will be between £3 million to £4 million over the four years. The objective of the event is to provide background on the Constabulary Estates and Facilities Management department, details about the requirements and expectations for successful suppliers, and the procurement process for applications to the new Framework. NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit is working as an agent on behalf of NHS Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB). The ICB wish to invite providers to respond to a Request for Information (RFI), regarding the Coniston Medical Practice which is currently on a GMS contract. However, any future contracts will be on an APMS contract. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to understand the potential interest in the market to provide Primary Medical Care services to the patient population of Coniston . This information will support NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB to make a decision on the future provision of primary medical services to the practice population going forward. The ICB would like to invite responses to the questionnaire on the Atamis Portal, under contract reference C350287 'LSC Coniston Medical Practice - Request for Information' by Friday 11th April 2025 12:00pm.
