Notice Description

The Council is inviting suppliers to tender for a contract for the provision of the Servicing and Testing of Gas Pipeline and Equipment. There are two parts to the contract, - Element one of the works comprises the servicing of gas and oil fired heating equipment, appliances and pressure units at the establishments within the charge of the Council, Element two of the work comprises the annual testing of all Gas/LPG (to include testing of pipework to the storage vessel) /oil installations at the establishments within the charge of the Council. The tender will be split into two defined geographical lot areas North and South Derbyshire as detailed in the attached map of Derbyshire (Appendix K). Contractors are entitled to bid for both areas with the most economically advantageous bid being successful in each lot area. * North Derbyshire - Lot Area 1 * South Derbyshire - Lot Area 2 The period of the contract shall be from 1st March 2022 to 29th February 2024 with an option to extend for up to two further periods of one year each subject to a performance review at the end of years two and three
