Disability Register Scheme for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Notice Description
West Sussex County Council would like to invite Providers to participate in a market engagement event in relation to the commissioning of its Disability Register Scheme for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The aim of the market engagement event is; * To discuss the current contract which ends on 31st August 2020 * To outline the proposed procurement activities and discuss the project timeline. * To discuss key requirements of the service, which include; The provision of a disability register / database which captures high quality data which will be used to inform and shape the current and future services - providing us with insight. The register will also include relevant offers and associated discounts to promote health & well-being, social activity and interaction in their local community for those who sign up. The 1989 Children Act requires every local authority to keep a register or database of children and young people with significant special needs. Providers should note that this is not a call for competition. Participation or non-participation in this market engagement event will not preclude or provide any provider with an advantage in a future procurement process. The formal procurement is anticipated to commence early 2020. Whilst we appreciate that your time is precious, we hope you can join us; Date: Friday 17th January 2020 Venue: Centenary House, Durrington, Worthing, West Sussex. To attend: please email Michael.Rhodes-Kubiak@Westsussex.gov.uk to reserve a place. Please note we are limited to two delegates per organization. Please book your place by 31st December 2019.
