Notice Title

Children's Indoor Soft Play Area

Notice Description

One Leisure Huntingdon is about to go through a major redevelopment, mainly focused around the gym. Currently the 'Funzone' is situated directly above our gym and it is felt that to remove the current play provision and extend the gym to both floors is our best option. With the success of the' Funzone' we are keen to keep a facility of soft play but we are looking at changing that provision to the current customer needs by reducing the age range to 0 - 7 years and concentrating on delivering a great experience for that age range. As Hospitality plays such a vital role in the success for the 'Funzone' we have a desire to move both hospitality and the 'Funzone' to the ground floor. Any proposed solution will need to fit into any the programme of rebuild/refurbishment work with removal of the old 'Funzone' programmed for the mid - end of October to make space for the new extended gym facilities. Once the new gym is completed, the old gym equipment can be removed, the room made good (eg: walls re-plastered) and space made available for the installation of the new 'Funzone'. Depending on timely progress with the refurbishment the space for the new 'Funzone' should be available mid-end February. As the installation of the 'Funzone' is the last element of the project time taken to complete is important.
