Interested companies were required to return the EOI form and PQQ electronically by 12:00 EET on 21 September 2026; companies with a PQQ submitted in the previous 12 months could provide its details instead. The planned tender return date is 13 November 2026. Contract award is planned for 15 February 2027, with work scheduled to commence on 1 March 2027 and complete on 30 June 2027. The published contract period runs from 15 February to 30 June 2027. The estimated value is £580,000 including the stated GBP currency. The opportunity is suitable for SMEs.

This opportunity suits refurbishment and building contractors able to deliver coordinated building, civil, mechanical and electrical works in an operational Ministry of Defence setting. Relevant capability includes commercial or institutional interior refurbishment, waterproofing membrane replacement, roof repairs, edge protection, surface preparation and redecoration, partition alterations, furniture installation, kitchen extraction systems, heating pipework and hot and cold services. Suppliers must be able to manage asbestos-containing materials: all asbestos work must be undertaken by licensed contractors. The requirement also calls for sequencing and reinstatement of existing kitchen equipment, protection of occupied or operational facilities, and coordination across multiple trades. Businesses with experience delivering complex refurbishment projects, suitable site capacity, and access to licensed asbestos and specialist M&E teams are well placed to compete.
