The role will be based at Oldbury Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE. We require one Solicitor with extensive experience of general civil litigation within a Local Authority. We are looking for a candidate who has the following experience: Qualified Solicitor/Barrister/Fellow of CILEx of at least 5 years, extensive experience of general civil litigation within a Local Authority, advocacy experience in Courts and Tribunals, general knowledge of Local Government law, ideally some experience of education law, extensive experience of providing advice to internal and external clients and the ability to undertake a varied workload.
