Notice Description

This tender is to agree a contract with a specialist in social work practice and teaching, who has a track record in the provision of learning and development to social work professionals in child and family social work in the implications of adult mental ill health for parenting capacity and in the assessment of child mental health. This programme will be delivered by the successful partner to 400-500 of our practitioners who work in both a public law environment as Guardians in Care Proceedings; and in private law assessments as Family Court Advisers (FCAs). This will help us to continue to grow skilled and confident practitioners and reflect our commitment to a learning and development culture in Cafcass, which will help maintain and improve the delivery of front line services. In some cases participants will be able to follow up this training by taking up PQ training.
