Notice Description

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has over the last three years implemented a core EPR across the estate via the T3 Programme. In response to the changing landscape the Informatics department has recently published its Information and Technology Strategy 2020 (attached) providing a forward look as to how the Trust should achieve its ambition of being paperless at the point of care by 2020. The Trust is in the process of re-focusing on the infrastructure requirements in order to put an appropriate strategy in place to support and scale for current and future IT demands. In the short term the Trust would like to increase the security, mobility and flexibility of the services it currently provides by an uptake in the usage of the existing wireless infrastructure. In addition, the Trust also wishes to meet the increasing demand from the surrounding community for remote use of its services in a more structured manner, and lay the foundations for taking advantage of other technologies such as VoIP and Unified Communications. Additional information: Please follow instructions in the quote document. Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No
