National Citizen Service (NCS) is the country's fastest-growing youth movement, a rite of passage for all teenagers aged 15-17 to discover who they are and what they can do. Nearly 500,000 young people have already taken part. Find out more at www.ncsyes.co.uk NCS currently has the following opportunity for the provision of: NCS Trust wishes to develop and scale an NCS Design Lab model that engages the NCS Trust delivery network in practice sharing, developing elements of the NCS curriculum, producing guidance and other tools to support programme delivery across the NCS network, and which builds participants' capacity to design and deliver youth programmes beyond NCS. The Contractor will support NCS Trust by developing the NCS Design Lab model, building upon the process and learning from the first prototype, through the delivery of between four (4) and six (6) NCS Design Labs over the course of the initial 1 year Agreement. The Contractor will maintain a codified and documented Design Lab model, which is sufficiently flexible and scalable to suit a range of delivery methodologies (e.g. workshops, online). The Contractor will ensure that the development of the NCS Design Lab model is informed by similar, effective approaches nationally and internationally. This procurement is for the provision of the Services for an Initial Period of 1 year from commencement of the Contract with an option for the Trust to extend up to a maximum of two 12 month periods. The potential value for the Initial period of this Contract including any additional services is approximately PS150,000 GBP. The potential Total Contract Value, inclusive of optional extension periods and potential additional services is approximately PS450,000 GBP.
