Scope of Requirements: Sunderland City Council (SCC) is considering appointing a supplier or a consortium of suppliers for the supply, installation and maintenance of a Platform to support a range of functions, including technology assisted living, telecare, telehealth, internet of things and lone working. An overview of the scope of requirements is outlined within the Pre-Procurement Market Testing Questionnaire. Pre-Procurement Market Testing Exercise: Prior to commencing a procurement process, SCC would like to establish whether a supplier or a consortium of suppliers are capable and interested in delivering the essential and desirable requirements of the platform. SCC is keen to obtain up-to-date insight from the market and is therefore undertaking a Pre-Procurement Market Testing exercise to explore business, technological and innovative solutions that are available. In addition, this will allow SCC to gauge the level of market interest. Please note: this Pre-Procurement Market Testing exercise is for information only and in no way forms part of any competitive procurement process. It is only to assess the reaction of the market, which may or may not lead to a procurement opportunity in the future. Written submissions will therefore not be evaluated, scored, or taken into assessment of tenders in any future process in any way.
