Notice Description

The Capital Works comprise the conservation and repair of the fabric of the former Old Kings Head and conversion to vibrant new artisan cafe and B & B business that will inject new life into its ancient fabric and help to revitalise the local economy and community. It is proposed that the main building will be sensitively adapted to provide accommodation for a Cafe, Deli, Community Meeting Space and Bed and Breakfast. Extensive repairs to the Stable Block Range are required to retain, repair and reinstate the fabric of this structure which will be undertaken to form accommodation for two commercial units and one residential unit. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
