Notice Description

1694/328/ML/NAMRC/17 Materials Framework -Steel Alloy Cylinders The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders to establish a framework agreement with one or more suppliers on behalf of the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, for the supply of Cylinders in support of its NI502 and NI 504 Projects. . Scope of Requirement: The Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre has an immediate requirement for Cylinders / flanges as detailed in Appendix A of the Published ITT. Tenderers shall note that a number of options have been identified to encourage the widest response; however, the Purchaser will accept the best fit to meet the needs of the project currently under consideration. Preference shall be given to supply as follows: * Method of manufacture: Forging * Material Grade: ASTM / ASME SA508 grade 3 class1 (Western / EU source preferred) Tender Process and Documentation: This is an open tender exercise. The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University's e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend System, this can be accessed at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield Completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system.
